Login Settings

The Login Settings page lets you associate a guest user to this Experience Definition, and lets you specify the initial page a guest user sees when coming to this Experience Definition. For instance, if an unauthenticated user is directed to this Experience Definition (through application of an Experience Rule), you can choose to have that user see the My Page layout of the guest user you associate with this Experience Definition. You can create multiple guest users with different My Page layouts for this purpose. Click here for information on how to create a guest user.

The Login Settings page also lets you specify what all users see if they log out of this Experience Definition, and lets you disable single sign-on for this Experience Definition.

Under Guest Settings:

Under Login Page Settings:

Users will be directed to the page you select here if, in the portalconfig.xml file, GuestRedirectToLogin is set to 1, or if they click the "Log In" link. Otherwise, users see the home page specified for this Experience Definition as their initial view.

Users will be directed to the page you select here if, in the portalconfig.xml file, RedirectOnLogout is set to 1. Otherwise, upon logout, users see the home page specified for this Experience Definition.

Under Disable Single Sign On (SSO):

  1. Click Administration, then navigate to an administrative folder.
  2. Click an existing Experience Definition, or in the Create Object drop-down list, click Experience Definition.
  3. On the left, under Edit Object Settings, click Login Settings.
