To quickly redistribute content from one branch of your Knowledge Directory to another:
Under Source Folders, specify from which folders you want to redistribute content by performing any of the following actions:
To add folders, click Add Folder; then, in the Add Folder
dialog box, select the folders you want to add and click OK.
To delete a folder, select the folder and
click .
To select or clear all of the folder check boxes, select or clear the box to the left of Folder Name.
To toggle the order in which the folders are
sorted, click Folder Name. The
icon to the right of Folder Name signifies
the current alphabetical sort order: ascending () or descending
(
).
By default, content from subfolders is not redistributed. If you want to sort the content from subfolders, select Sort content from all the subfolders of the selected source folders.
By default, the content is moved. If you want to keep content in the source folders and copy the content to the destination folders, clear the Delete sorted documents from the source folders check box.
Under Destination Folders, specify to which folders you want to redistribute content by performing any of the following actions:
To add folders, click Add Folder; then, in the Add Folder

To select or clear all of the folder check boxes, select or clear the box to the left of Folder Name.

To automatically approve the sorted content, select Sorted documents are automatically approved. If you do not select this option, the sorted content needs to be approved by the destination folder manager before it is displayed in that section of the portal.
Specify whether links need to pass the filters of destination folders. If you specify that links do not need to pass the filters, then all links in the source folders will be sorted into each destination folder. If you specify that links do need to pass the filters, then only those links that pass the filters of the destination folders will be sorted into the destination branch of the Knowledge Directory.
When you click Finish, a job is created for this sorting and scheduled to execute promptly.
