Target Settings

To specify a time-out for this crawler:

• To specify the maximum amount of time that this crawler waits for a Web page to load, next to Time-out Period, type a number in the box and choose a period in the drop-down list. If the page does not load in this time, the crawler moves on to the next page.

• To display the page associated with this help topic:

1. Click Administration.
2. Open the Web Crawler Editor:
• To create a new Web crawler:
1. Open an administrative folder.
2. In the Create Object drop-down list, click Crawler - WWW.
• To edit an existing Web crawler:
1. Navigate to the Web crawler you want to edit.
2. Click the Web crawler name.
3. On the left, under Edit Object Settings, click Target Settings.
