Choose Layout

Use this page to choose the way portlets are displayed or to move portlets on a My Page. For example, you can have one column for narrow portlets on the left and another column for wide portlets on the right of the My Page.

To choose how portlets are displayed on a My Page:

1. Click My Pages and select the My Page containing the portlets you want to move.

2. In the My Pages menu, click Edit Page to display the Page Editor.

3. Click Select Page Layout to display the Select Page Layout page.

4. Click the radio button next to the layout you want and click Finish to close the window.
   
   Note: Narrow portlets can display in either narrow or wide columns in your portal, but wide portlets can display only in the wide columns.

3. To save your changes, click Finish. To leave your page unchanged, click Cancel.

To reposition a portlet on a My Page:

1. Click My Page and select the My Page containing the portlets you want to move.

2. In the My Pages menu, click Edit Page to display the Page Editor.

3. To move any portlets that you want to reposition, click the bar containing the
   portlet’s name, hold down your mouse button, and drag the portlet to the desired position. For example, you might want to place portlets that you use more frequently higher up on your My Page.

Notes:

• Narrow portlets can be moved to either the narrow or wide column in a My Page, but wide portlets display only in the wide column.

• Your administrator might have made some portlets mandatory on your principal My Page. You cannot move portlets that are mandatory.

• To display the page associated with this help topic:
