Add Portlets
The Add Portlets page allows you to add portlets or portlet bundles,
which are collections of related portlets packaged together so that you
can easily add them to portal pages. The page displays a list of all portlets
and portlet bundles available to you.

Searching, Browsing, and Sorting Portlets and Portlet Bundles
You can perform the following actions to help you find portlets or portlet
bundles:
To search for portlets or portlet bundles, in
the Search for Portlets text box,
type the text you want to search for and click 
. You may
use wild card characters in this text box. You can sort the search results
by relevance, last modified date, folder, or object type by selecting
the sorting category in the Sort by
drop-down list. For searching tips, see Text
Search Rules.
To view a list of all folders, click 
Browse All
Folders.
Note: This link displays folders that might not contain portlets
or portlet bundles.
To view the portlets and portlet bundles in a
folder, click the folder name.
To view a list of the portlets in a portlet
bundle, click the name of the bundle.
Previewing Portlets
To see what a portlet looks like, click the portlet name to display
the Preview Portlet page:
To view a description of the portlet, click
View Description.
When you are finished, click Close.
To add the portlet to your page and close the
preview, click Add this Portlet.
To return to the list of portlets without
adding the portlet to your page, click Close.
Adding Portlets and Portlet Bundles
You can perform the following actions to add portlets or portlet bundles:
To add all of the portlets from a portlet bundle
to your page, click Add to the
left of the bundle name.
To add some of the portlets from a portlet bundle
to your page, click the bundle name. In the Add Portlets from Bundle dialog
box, select the portlets you want to add and click Finish.
To add a portlet, select it.
To remove a portlet, clear the box to the
left of the portlet.
To save your changes and return to your page,
click Finish.
To return to your page without saving your
changes, click Cancel.
Recommending Portlets
To recommend a portlet to other users:
To the right of the portlet, click 
.
In the Portlet Invitation dialog box:
- Select all of the text.
- Copy the text (for inclusion in an e-mail message).
To close the Invite People dialog box, click
Close.
In your e-mail application, create a new e-mail
message.
Paste the text into the body of the e-mail.
Send the e-mail to the users to which you want
to recommend the portlet.
If you are not already on the My Page or
community page to which you want to add portlets, navigate to that page
now.
On the page to which you want to add portlets,
perform one of the following actions:
